Australian Pipe Band Association

Western Australia Branch

Welcome to the website for the Western Australia Branch of the Australian Pipe Band Association, Pipe Bands WA.

This site will give you information about this long established not-for-profit organisation, its goals and events and the pipe bands who are the most integral part of its continued existence.

The site is new and will develop over time. Learning resources and other items of interest will be added, but anyone is welcomed to contribute to this site. Please e-mail your ideas or thoughts to admin@pipebandswa.com

OUR AIM IS TO ENHANCE THE PIPE BAND COMMUNITY IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA, INCREASE OUR PLAYER BASE, PROVIDE RESOURCES FOR OUR BANDS TO CONTINUE TO EXIST AND IMPROVE IN LINE WITH THEIR ASPIRATIONS.

2010 marks the start of a new team in the branch, with the aims stated above, and much much more. However we need assistance from our pipe bands, new sponsors and support from the WA Public to achieve these goals. We need new committee members and ongoing attendance from pipers and drummer to flourish, and sponsors to enable us to return WA to the forefront of pipe bands in the Southern Hemisphere.

NEXT EVENT:
Pipe Band Contest Armadale
